The Mastercard Foundation Scholars Program has successfully trained over 200 students as E-Learning ambassadors, a significant achievement in the realm of digital education. The E-Learning Initiative Project has been instrumental in equipping these students with the necessary skills and knowledge to thrive in the digital age.

During the closing ceremony of the E-Learning Student Ambassadors training, Professor Eric Appau Asante, Director of the E-Learning Centre, commended the commitment and perseverance of the students throughout the intensive two-week training program. The students were guided by Dr. Samuel Antwi and a team of facilitators through a comprehensive module on various aspects of online learning.

Courage Julios Logah, Project Lead of the Mastercard E-Learning Initiative, expressed satisfaction with the progress of the students and pledged to consider their requests for establishing E-Learning centers in their respective institutions. The program aims to empower students to champion digital education and make a positive impact in their communities.

Participants had the opportunity to showcase their new skills through group presentations, demonstrating their ability to develop online content, conduct assessments, and facilitate digital learning experiences. The students shared their experiences and expressed gratitude for the transformative impact of the training on their confidence and abilities.

The collaborative effort between the Mastercard Foundation Scholars Program E-Learning Initiative, KNUST E-Learning Centre, Arizona State University, and the United States International University – Africa, underscores the importance of empowering students with digital skills. As the E-Learning ambassadors embark on their mission, they carry with them the promise of a brighter and more accessible future for all.
