This year is an election year and as accustomed, there will certainly be celebrities who will endorse various Presidential candidates.
That has been the situation whenever elections beckons in any country and Ghana is no exception to this rule.
Elections will be held in December and already, some celebrities have their favourite Presidential candidates.

1. Bulldog
Some months ago, the former manager of Shatta Wale openly endorsed sitting president, John Mahama on his facebook page. The artiste manager noted that everybody has choices and that he chooses JM.

2. Mzbel
Mzbel has come out to throw her weight behind President John Dramani Mahama because to her, his achievement in his first term is unparalleled and needs to be given another chance to complete his dream for Ghana. Mzbel has since released some a song to back her likeness for JM.

3. Bukom Banku
The former boxer now politician has openly endorsed John Mahama as the candidate of his choice. Bukom has been seen releasing several videos touting the achievements of John Mahama and believes he will win the 2016 elections.

4. John Dumelo
Screen god, John Dumelo, is one of the celebrities to throw his weight behind the ruling National Democratic Congress and its flagbearer. John Dumelo has taken his endorsement to a different level because he is openly seen on campaign platforms and other platforms preaching NDC and choosing JM. Dumelo recently lent a hand to NPP youth to join the winning NDC team.

5. Tracey Boakye
The kumawood actress has been spotted at several programs of the ruling National Democratic Congress. It is even alleged that her endorsement of John Mahama has won her the latest BMW model. Tracey says she chooses JM.

6. Mr Beautiful
He has been an ardent follower of John Mahama from day one. Mr Beautiful has been a part of Mahama’s team and although it has affected his career, he still won’t give up on what he believes in. Mr Beautiful also chooses JM.

7. Jewel Ackah
This is an old face in the National Democratic Congress. He composed the party’s anthem and has been known for his commitment to the NDC and its flagbearer. Jewel chooses JM.

8. Amandzeba
The highlife crooner has also endorsed John Dramani Mahama for a second-term in office. Yes, Amandzeba has always been known for his affiliation to the NDC and its flagbearer, John Mahama.

The Okay FM presenter has always advocated for votes for John Mahama because he believes the presidency should be given and handled by the youth of which president Mahama is the best option. Abeiku Aggrey Santana chooses JM.

10. Kwaku Manu
The kumawood actor is the latest addition to the list of celebrity endorsements for the ruling National Democratic Congress and its flagbearer, John Dramani Mahama. In a short video released online, the kumawood actor endorsed the NDC umbrella as the best umbrella. Kwaku Manu chooses JM.
