Johnson has been married for more than ten years and is not single. After dating Adria Budd for three years, they were married in 2004 and again in 2007. Their daughter Calla Prairie Johnson was born to Budd.
Budd is a Canadian author and producer. They first connected while she was serving as Annette O’Toole and John Glover’s personal assistant on the set of Smallville in 2001.
Johnson was playing Whitney Fordman, a football player and Clark Kent’s adversary, in Smallville at the time. Budd most recently worked as a producer on the film Poohlan, which was about the late Indian activist for women’s rights Poohlan Devi.
