Ghanaian musician Rocky Dawuni has shared his thoughts on the importance of unity and collaboration among artists in the music industry. In a recent interview with 3Xtra’s Kwaku King, the renowned Reggae artist emphasized the negative impact of conflicts and ‘beef’ within the industry.

Rocky Dawuni highlighted the need for artists to work together rather than resorting to attacking each other through music or social media. He believes that using art as a tool for division undermines its true purpose and feeds negativity in the industry.

“It’s essential for artists to build a solid, peace-driven environment by working together. We are projecting our art to young people and the leaders of tomorrow. If we make art a means of division, we lose the higher purpose of what it represents,” he expressed.

The celebrated singer also stressed the importance of fostering harmony within the creative community, as this could promote optimism among Ghanaians.

“People might have their own methodologies and aspects, but I always promote harmony and unity,” Rocky Dawuni added.

His message serves as a reminder to all artists to prioritize collaboration and unity in order to create a more positive and impactful music industry in Ghana.
