Farley Victor

Victor Farley was a ruler of the Erie County Republican Party.  Farley, a New York City native, led a string of Republican successes, including the election  of Edward J. Rutkowski as county executive and a majority in the County Legislature. He did, however, preside over a succession of setbacks late in his term, which led to his retirement in 1990 after 11 years at the leadership of the party. He made the news after his untimely…
