The International God’s Way Church’s founder, Bishop Daniel Obinim, has expressed concerns that investigative journalist Anas Aremeyaw Anas would look into his affairs.
Bishop Obinim publicly voiced his discomfort with Anas investigating his behavior, especially with regard to his acknowledged extramarital affairs while serving as the congregation’s senior pastor.
He made it clear that, aside from his previous adultery, Anas could not legitimately accuse him of any misconduct, even murder or making up miraculous healing claims.
Bishop Obinim stated in a recent interview that although there were some things he would have like to keep private, Anas was free to start his investigation as soon as possible.
Bishop Obinim made it clear that TB Joshua’s circumstances are unrelated to the charges leveled against the Nigerian preacher. He declared that he had never killed someone or sought advice from any conventional spiritual leaders.
Obinim stated that Anas shouldn’t concentrate on the claims of infidelity and extramarital encounters because he has already freely acknowledged to being unfaithful to his wife.
The recent documentary by the British Broadcasting Corporation (BBC) that exposed the late Prophet TB Joshua’s major sexual misbehavior has increased scrutiny of pastors’ involvement in their ministries.
Despite not being connected to any of the accusations made against TB Joshua, Bishop Obinim made it plain that he is still concerned about a possible probe into his previous extramarital affairs.
