The actress Regina Adu Safowaah claims that her incessant push to get married from friends and family is causing her emotional distress.
The 33-year-old actress opened up about the humiliation she endured from family members and close friends pressuring her to get married during her speech at the Speech-a-thon event, which is now being held at La Palm Royal Beach.
“I have friends who are married and have kids, and I really admire them,” the woman remarked. I wonder why I can’t be the one doing it. However, God has His own schedule.
“If not for the God I believe and trust so much in Him, I would probably have done something to myself,”
“Perhaps the man I will run off and marry is the one who will treat me badly.” What happens if my spouse passes away three or five years into our marriage? God knows why I’m not married right now, but I still honor and revere Him constantly.”
The actress says she isn’t letting go of her goal of achieving both personal and professional fulfillment as she enters the second day of her longest speech marathon attempt due to cultural expectations.
Speaking to the small attendance at her Speech-a-thon, she underlined her steadfast dedication to her objectives.
I am not moved by the low patronage.” She said with confidence, exhibiting the same perseverance that has defined her career, “When I set out to do something, I see it through, and that is exactly what I am going to do.” The attempt is set to expire on Wednesday, February 14, 2024.
