Marcus Lilian Thuram-Ulien was born on August 6, 1997. He plays professional football for Borussia Mönchengladbach in the Bundesliga and for France. He can play on the left wing or as a forward.

Thuram started his professional career at Sochaux, where he also played for the club Youth Academy. He replaced Edouard Butin and made his Ligue 2 debut for the squad on March 20, 2015, against Châteauroux. He played in 43 games for Sochaux, scoring one goal in a 3-1 loss at Tours on April 14, 2017. He loved to watch on the field of play.

On July 5, 2017, Thuram agreed to a deal with Guingamp of Ligue 1 for an undisclosed fee. Gianluigi Buffon’s opponent in August 2018 while playing for Paris Saint-Germain was Gianluigi Buffon, his father’s former teammate at Parma and Juventus.
