Jamillah Ross is a Canadian actor, comedian, and singer-songwriter. She trained at Toronto’s The Second City and has performed on stage, in films, on television, and in groups.
The spontaneous TV projects Howie Do It, Fool Canada, and Scare Tactics all included Ross. In Toronto-based television shows including Killjoys, Flashpoint, Lost Girl, Rookie Blue, and Kim’s Convenience, she also had a few cameo appearances. She also had roles in the feature films Picture Day and Pay the Ghost. She has made a name for herself in the movie industry.
In the musical comedy Rumspringa Break in 2018, critic Lin Young praised Ross’s zeal, humorous timing, and singing voice! Ross received praise for her prominent part as a parking enforcement officer who guides the audience down Queen Street West in Caroline Azar’s walkabout play St. Peon Of The People.
