Cersei intended for the religious order to seize and condemn Loras for his homosexual behaviour, deceiving Margaery into perjuring herself by denying knowledge of his proclivities. Margaery is detained and awaits trial, while Cersei is arrested for separate accusations, namely her incestuous behaviour.
