A video of a mother from Ghana sobbing uncontrollably and pleading for money to cover her son’s leukemia-related medical expenses has gone viral on the internet.
In addition to having to worry about how she will pay for her son’s medical expenses, the mother is seen in the video worrying uncontrollably about her gravely ill son.
She claims that her son has been ill for some time and that his medical care is quite costly.
She claimed she had run out of ways to raise money and was left with no choice but to ask Ghanaians for assistance.
Weeping in the video, she pleaded with everyone to send her anything they could in order to help her collect enough money to support her child.
As many Ghanaians expressed their desire to assist, the depressing video became viral and was shared by a number of celebrities, including Yvonne Nelson.
