How did Erica Stoll meet Rory McIlroy?
The pair met at the 2012 Ryder Cup on the Sunday of the Miracle at Medinah. Stoll was working for the PGA at the time.
That morning, McIlroy got the time of his tee-off wrong, thinking he was off at 12:25 pm instead of 11:25 am. Due to this, he required a police escort.
It happened to be Stoll who helped him avoid what would have been an embarrassing morning.
How long have they been married?
While they were on vacation in Paris, they got engaged in December 2015. Two years later, in April 2017, they got married at Ashford Castle in Cong, County Mayo.
Their guest list featured Chris Martin from Coldplay and One Direction’s Niall Horan, as well as performances from Stevie Wonder and Ed Sheeran.

They welcomed their daughter Poppy Kennedy McIlroy born on August 31, 2020. McIlroy shared picture of Poppy’s hand with the caption,
