Are Queen Elizabeth II and Anne Boleyn related?

Queen Elizabeth II is descended from Mary Boleyn, Anne Boleyn’s sister.

In September 2015, Elizabeth broke Queen Victoria’s (her great-great-grandmother’s) record of 63 years and 216 days on the throne to become the longest-reigning British monarch in history.

Elizabeth celebrated her Platinum Jubilee in February 2022, signifying seven decades of service to the Commonwealth.

She maintained numerous thoroughbred racehorses as queen and regularly visited racing and breeding activities. Elizabeth’s famed affinity to Pembroke Welsh corgis began while she was a kid, and she would possess more than 30 corgis during her reign.
