Sheryl Sandberg is an American business executive, billionaire, and philanthropist. She is best known for being the COO of Meta Platforms, formerly known as Facebook Inc.

A decade later, in 2004, she married Dave Goldberg, the founder of LAUNCH Media and the CEO of SurveyMonkey.
They had two children together, a son and a daughter, and resided in Menlo Park, California.
On May 1, 2015, Goldberg and Sandberg were on a vacation at a private beach-front villa near the Four Seasons Hotels and Resorts in Punta Mita, Mexico. Goldberg died unexpectedly and his death was attributed to head trauma from falling from a treadmill.
However, Sandberg said that her husband’s cause of death was due to an arrhythmia, and not due to falling from a treadmill as previously stated.
