The Queen’s Platinum Jubilee Pageant is divided into four parts that reflect the tale of her 70-year reign and the changing socio-economic landscape of the United Kingdom.
The pageant involves more than 10,000 persons, including military personnel, over 6,000 volunteers, entertainers, crucial workers, and 2,500 members of the general public.
Will the Queen attend her Platinum Jubilee?
The Queen is expected to be visible throughout her Platinum Jubilee celebrations, according to a Palace source, who stated that she is “looking forward to the weekend and will be participating.
” The Queen, who had hoped to attend ceremonies such as Remembrance Sunday and the State Opening of Parliament, has now had to recognize that the new reality is that appearing publicly is not always practicable.
As a result, her attendance at activities throughout the four-day weekend will not be confirmed until considerably closer to the time, if not on an actual day.
Among the celebs in attendance are Sir Cliff Richard, Dame Shirley Bassey, and Gary Lineker. A large Lady Godiva puppet will also be featured in the pageant.
