Brenden Aaronson of the United States Men’s National Team has joined Leeds United from Red Bull Salzburg in Austria.
The 21-year-old has signed a five-year contract at Elland Road for a reported cost of £25 million ($31 million).
His new salary at Leeds has not been disclosed yet.

Last season, Aaronson made 41 appearances for Salzburg in all competitions, providing 10 assists and scoring six goals to help the team win the Austrian Bundesliga and Austrian Cup for the second year in a row.
The offensive midfielder is a United States international who has won 18 caps and scored five goals for his country, most notably assisting them in securing qualification for the FIFA 2022 World Cup.
Aaronson made his MLS debut in March 2019, scoring in a 1-1 draw with Atlanta United, after rising through the ranks with Philadelphia Union.
Aaronson will return with Leeds manager Jesse Marsch, who was in charge of Salzburg when the winger went there from the Philadelphia Union in January 2021.
