Today (Wednesday, May 9, 2018) marks exactly 17 years since the gory Accra Sports Stadium football disaster occurred.
On this day, 127 fans lost their lives (and many others injured) at the Accra Sports Stadium, in what was the second biggest stadium tragedy in football history.
Many Ghanaian Twitter users took to the micro-blogging site to share their memories and commiserated with the victimsβ families.
