Miss Tic was born Radhia Novat on February 20, 1956, to a Tunisian immigrant father and a mother from Normandy.
She was born in Montmarte, where she lived until her family moved to Orly in 1964. When she was 10, she lost her mother, her little brother, and her grandmother in a car accident. She lost her father six years later.
She was then raised by her stepmother. She lived in California in the early 1980s and returned to Paris after the breakup of a relationship. There she began began her designs on the walls of parts of Ménilmontant, Montmartre, le Marais, Montorgueil and la Butte-aux-Cailles.
