Cameron Young attended Wake Forest University and competed for the school when he was still an amateur. He became a professional golfer in 2019.
Young was born on May 7, 1997 ( 25 years) in Scarborough, New York.
He has had three (3) professional wins, two of which were on the Korn Ferry Tour. His first win was in May 2021 from the AdventHealth Championship.
On May 30, 2021, he won the Evans Scholar Invitation Game and in July 2017, he won Lenox Advisors New York State Open as an amateur.
Young qualified for Korn Ferry Tour’s Pinnacle Bank Championship in the later part of July 2020.
Young won back-to-back Korn Ferry Tour events in May 2021 and went on to finish 19th on the 2020–21 regular-season points list, earning a PGA Tour card for 2021–22.
