Mr Morrison revealed he took a PCR test after acquiring a fever on Tuesday evening in a statement posted late last night.

Due to his symptoms, he was unable to attend an event at the Sydney Opera House in support of the Ukrainian community.
Mr Morrison said he was suffering from flu-like symptoms and will be resting at home in Sydney for the next week.
“I’d been testing myself every day since Sunday, including this morning,” he added, adding that all of his tests had come back negative.
The Prime Minister’s favorable outcome follows a meeting of the National Security Committee (NSC) with senior ministers earlier on Tuesday.
Mr Morrison stated that he will continue to perform his regular tasks throughout his isolation.
