Lacewell grew up in Fordyce and attended Arkansas A&M, now known as the University of Arkansas at Monticello, before beginning his coaching career as a graduate assistant under the legendary Bear Bryant, a fellow Fordyce HS alum.
It is currently difficult to solve the mystery surrounding his death, but his autopsy report is set to be released later this week, which should provide us with a good idea of his death circumstances.
The deceased’s family would issue a press release outlining his funeral arrangements, including the funeral date, time, burial grounds, and every detail required for his successful burial.
