After Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness, Benedict Cumberbatch has announced that he will be taking a sabbatical from acting.
While discussing the various versions of his titular hero in the MCU sequel, the actor stated that he would want to exchange places with a ‘less busy’ version of himself.

Benedict Cumberbatch discussed his future after Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness during the film’s premiere event.
“It gets very multiversal in real life as well. I guess [I would be] one that’s less busy, maybe… I might be that very soon, which is nice taking a bit of a break.”
We know Cumberbatch will be gone for a short time because he didn’t say how long.
Fans won’t have to worry about the actor reprising his role as the MCU’s favorite sorcerer, since he will undoubtedly return.
Thankfully, Cumberbatch assures fans that he enjoys playing Doctor Strange and has no intentions to quit doing so.
We’re eager to see more of Strange in the MCU after seeing Multiverse of Madness!
