Lindell is a vocal admirer and advisor of former US President Donald Trump.
Lindell had a crucial part in supporting and financing Trump’s efforts to reverse the election result after Trump’s defeat in the 2020 presidential election; he disseminated fake conspiracy theories of massive electoral fraud in that election.
He has also been an outspoken supporter of the poisonous plant extract oleandrin as an alternative medicine treatment for COVID-19.
