According to reports, the mother of two who was shot to death outside a Mississippi club on Sunday was expecting her third child.
Takila Gross, 30, was fatally shot outside Roosevelt’s Club, according to Jacqueline Brownlee of WREG-TV.
She claimed that the soon-to-be mother of three was out with friends when she became caught in the crossfire.
The Marshall County Sheriff’s Office told WMC-TV that an altercation between two people escalated to shots fired.
Gross was hit while sitting in a nearby vehicle, according to the outlet. She was pronounced dead at the scene.

According to reports, police were able to track down her alleged murderer, 38-year-old Andre Norman, who had initially fled.
According to the outlet, Norman is facing one count of first-degree murder. It’s unclear whether he hired an attorney. He is being held on a one-million-dollar bond.
