Kemp was appointed as the secretary of state of Georgia by Governor Sonny Perdue after Karen Handel resigned.
He was later elected to a full term as Georgia secretary of state in 2010 and was reelected in 2014.

The wife of Brian, Marty Kemp is the co-chair of Grace Commission, a small business owner, former pupils teacher, and community volunteer as well as the mother.
Marty graduated from Clarke Central High School and the University of Georgia.
Before she joined her husband Brian’s construction company, Marty was working at her family’s travel agency, World Wide Travel.
The couple has been married for twenty-eight years and had their three daughters called Jarrett, Lucy, and Amy Porter.
Brian Kemp will be 59-year-old on November 2, this year. So his wife, Marty is likely to be in her middle 50s or late 50s just like her husband.
