James Douglas Muir Leno, popularly known as Jay Leno is an American television host, comedian, and writer.

He is the former host of The Tonight Show (1992 to 2009).

Leno was born in New Rochelle, New York, the United States on April 28, 1950 (age 71 years) to his parents – Angelo Leno and Catherine Muir.

He is from a family of two siblings (two boys) and happens to be the last child of his parents.

His elder brother was the late Patrick Leno – a Vietnam veteran who died of cancer in 2002 at the age of 62.

The couple tied the knot in 1980 and they have been happily married since.
