Ed Buck was a political fundraiser who was sentenced to 30 years on Thursday after being found guilty on charges linked to the overdose deaths of two men at his house.
Buck was found guilty last year of drugging men during sexual meetings, resulting in the overdoses of two Black men in his West Hollywood residence.
Prosecutors in Los Angeles requested a life sentence for Buck, alleging that he preyed on the weak generally young and Black males for his sexual perversion.
His counsel argued that a sentence of fewer than 25 years would allow him rehabilitation and therapy and would be much better than relegating him to death in jail.
The prison that will house the 67-year-old will be discussed.
Which prison will Ed Buck go?
Ed Buck will be sent to a Federal Prison per reports.
He is expected to serve well and be a deterrent to others who take delight in crime
Where is Ed Buck now?
