Francis C. La Mina became part of Dick Clark Prods company in 1966. He was the controller and head of accounting as well as the executive vice president of the company.
La Maina took control over the execution of Dick Clark TV specials, series, movies, games, and talk shows including American Bandstand, American Music Awards, Golden Globe Awards, and New Year’s Rockin’ Eve.

His humor and generosity brought a smile to everyone he met. Fran was larger than life and was loved by all.”
He left behind five children, two sons; Frank, and Nick, and three daughters; Terri, Diane, and Alicia.
In the statement, his children also wrote, “Through our grief, we honor our beloved Dad, who impacted and inspired us all with his love, support, compassion and humor. You were our guiding light and we will carry on your legacy. You are always in our hearts”.
