Con Cluskey, one of the founding members of The Bachelors, the first Irish group to top the British charts, has died at the age of 80.
The singer’s management team acknowledged the news of his death.
Con Cluskey was a famous celebrity who worked with some of the biggest names in show industry, notably throughout the 1960s and 1970s when his band was popular.
His other band members were Declan Cluskey, and John Stokes.
Con Cluskey died peacefully on Friday, on April 8 according to his brother. He died a natural in his residence.
Fans all around the globe took to social media to express their profound condolences to the family of the deceased, when the news broke about his sudden departure.
