Pierre Zakrzewski was an Irish cameraman killed on Monday, March 14, 2022.
He is the second journalist to be assassinated in Ukraine in two days.
Brent Renaud, a former New York Times reporter, was killed on Sunday after Russian soldiers opened fire on his car.
In a statement, Fox News mentioned Zakrzewski’s death.
Oleksandra Kuvshynova, a Ukrainian producer and fixer was also slain in the incident, according to Ukrainian officials and Fox News correspondents.
Last December, Zakrzewski received the Unsung Hero award at Fox’s annual employee Spotlight Awards in honor of his essential efforts.
Fox News colleagues and the world at large have paid tribute to Zakrzewski.

Zakrzewski was killed in Ukraine while travelling in a car in the attack outside Kyiv which injured correspondent Benjamin Hall.
According to the Ukrainian website kp.ua, Zakrzewski was killed as a consequence of artillery firing by Russian soldiers in the north-eastern area of Gorenka.
