Dylan is the grandson of Conrad Talley and the son of Louis Guess and Yvette Talley. LSU, Gonzaga, Colorado, Tennessee, USC, and Seton Hall were among the colleges he considered.
Dylan, who was born on December 28, 1989, received his bachelor’s degree in sociology from the University of Nebraska-Lincoln in August of 2013.
He scored nearly 2,000 points in his high school career at Life Center Academy in Burlington, New Jersey. He led LCA to a 17-9 record as a senior, averaging 16.2 points, 4.0 assists, and 2.0 steals per game while shooting 46 percent from the field and 39 percent from 3-point range.
He led LCA to a 20-8 record as a junior, averaging 16.6 points, 4.6 rebounds, and 2.6 assists per game.
He died at the age of 32.
