Emily Alberta Frederick DiMaggio was a co-founder of the Dana-Farber Cancer Institute’s Signature Island fundraiser.
She was the eldest daughter of Albert and Eleanor (Distasio) Frederick and was born in Boston on November 10, 1922.
She was a longtime resident of Palm Beach. She is the last surviving widow from the Red Sox quartet.
