Peter EarnestEdwin Peter Earnest was an American author and former CIA agent. He was born in Edinburgh on January 1, 1934.
He is the founding executive director of the International Spy Museum and a 35 year veteran of the Central Intelligence Agency
His father was Edwin Burchett Earnest whiles his mom was Emily (Keating) Earnest.
Mr. Earnest received his bachelor’s degree in history and political science from Georgetown University in 1955 and promptly joined the Marine Corps, where he toured Japan.
When he returned, his fiancée, Janet Chesney, who was already working at a CIA field office in Washington, pleaded with her bosses to hire him.
He was 88 years old.
