According to Manx Radio, he retired just two years ago.
Terry joined Manx Radio in 1969, working in the newsroom and producing shows such as The Cringle File and History Man.
He has worked in the profession for over 70 years.
Manx Radio is the national commercial radio station for the Isle of Man.
