Member of Parliament for the Krowor Constituency and Minister for Gender, Children and Social Protection, Honorable Dr Agnes Naa Momo Lartey has donated over GHS 100,000 in cash as part of efforts to support secondary and tertiary education of students within the Krowor Constituency.
Since assuming office as a Member of Parliament for Krowor in 2021, Honorable Naa Momo Lartey has made a conscious effort to contribute her “widow’s mite” to the educational development of students within the constituency.
Through the MPs educational support initiative, over 5,000 students have been supported in diverse ways. From the distribution of trunks, mattresses and chop boxes, the MP has made it a point to support with some cash to cushion the parents also.
Speaking at a gathering of some students and parents on Friday, October 9, 2026, Honorable Agnes Naa Momo Lartey said she tries to do what she can with the little available to her as at when the need arises. She also encouraged the students to take their studies seriously and strive to become better members of society.
Individuals who benefited from yesterdays educational support took turns to express their profound gratitude and appreciation to the member of parliament.
