Member of Parliament for the Awutu Senya East constituency, Honorable Phylis Naa Koryor Okunor was among 1568 students who were enrolled in the Ghana Bar Association today, October 9, 2026.
This major milestone marks her journey into law practice as a barrister and solicitor of the Supreme Court of Ghana.
According to the legislator for Awutu Senya East, combining parliamentary work and studying to become a lawyer wasn’t an easy task but the support of family and close friends made it possible to sail through this journey while referring to Law practice as a ” jealous partner” who takes all of your time and never wants to share you with another.
The member of parliament further stated that, since Parliament is a house of legislation, being a lawyer will help her represent her constituents better in parliament.
On her official Facebook page, she dedicated the achievement to every young adult pursuing a dream despite being told they cant make it. Further urging the young ones to keep believing, striving, never to give up and always choose themselves.
