English Championship club Sunderland is currently in negotiations with French Ligue 1 side RC Lens to secure the services of Ghanaian midfielder Salis Abdul Samed. According to reports from France, discussions are in progress, with a positive outcome on the horizon for the Black Cats.
Samed, who has impressed with his performances over the past two seasons, has caught the attention of several clubs, including Saint Etienne. However, Sunderland’s proactive approach has put them in pole position to land the talented midfielder ahead of the Ligue 1 outfit.
With 35 appearances in all competitions under his belt, Samed is a proven asset on the pitch. Despite not featuring in any games so far this season due to a falling out at his current club, Sunderland sees an opportunity to add depth to their midfield with the Ghanaian international.
