Hearts of Oak Executive Board Chairman, Togbe Afede XIV, has reiterated the club’s dedication to constructing the top football team in Ghana.
Serving as the Majority Shareholder of the club as well, Togbe Afede expressed this commitment following the official handover of the newly built Commercial Centre to the Board of Directors.
After narrowly avoiding relegation with a 14th-place finish in the previous season, Togbe Afede XIV highlighted the club’s focus on enhancing the playing squad, as well as their investment in infrastructure development.
“Management and the board are both fully committed to putting together the best squad possible. Sometimes it may take time due to certain constraints that are beyond our control,” he stated. “We aim to ensure that we are strong professionally, solid in terms of management, and have a solid team of players. We are pleased to see progress in all aspects of the football club.”
Hearts of Oak are set to begin their 2024/25 Ghana Premier League campaign with a home fixture against Basake Holy Stars. The club is determined to make significant improvements on the field and continue building a strong foundation for success.
