Ghanaian football powerhouse, Asante Kotoko, has officially started its pre-season training today in preparation for the upcoming 2024/25 football season.
The club released a statement indicating that the first team squad has gathered today to begin their pre-season preparations.
“The squad assembled this morning to kick off their pre-season training for the upcoming season,” part of the Asante Kotoko statement read.
In other news, head coach Prosper Narteh Ogum has fully recovered from surgery he underwent five weeks ago.
The experienced tactician is expected to return to training this week to lead the Porcupine Warriors in their quest for success in the new season.
“Asante Kotoko is delighted to announce to our fans and the football community that Head Coach, Dr. Prosper Narteh Ogum, will be back at the Adako Jachie training ground this week after a successful recovery from surgery five weeks ago.
“The return of the Head Coach is a huge boost for the club as new players come in and adjust to Dr. Ogum’s comprehensive football philosophy,” Asante Kotoko stated in their announcement.
