Despite a successful four-year stint with Hearts of Oak, where Dankyi won the Ghana Premier League title in 2021/22 and two FA Cup trophies, he decided to join King Faisal on a short-term contract. While at King Faisal, Dankyi played a crucial role in their journey to the MTN FA Cup final.
