Ghanaian actor, Agya Koo, has made a surprising revelation about his relationship with former President John Dramani Mahama.

During a recent live band performance at a funeral, the popular Kumawood actor expressed his admiration for the NDC flagbearer.

Agya Koo disclosed that he has regular communication with John Mahama and even shared that the former president invited him to his residence for conversations. This revelation comes as a shock to many, considering Agya Koo’s well-known support for the New Patriotic Party (NPP) and President Akufo-Addo.

The actor’s declaration of affection for John Mahama was prompted by an incident where the crowd chanted ‘Mahama’ during his performance, leading him to abruptly end his singing. In a video shared online, Agya Koo can be seen addressing the person who chanted Mahama’s name, expressing his displeasure with the interruption.

Despite his political affiliations, Agya Koo emphasized the importance of unity and tolerance among Ghanaians. He pointed out that members of the music band at the event belonged to both the NPP and NDC, highlighting the need for collaboration and cooperation regardless of political differences.
