Black Stars goalkeeper Joseph Wollacott is excited about his new chapter at Crawley Town, reuniting with former manager Scott Lindsey.

After a successful loan spell at Swindon Town, Wollacott signed a two-year contract with Crawley, where he will once again work under Lindsey’s guidance.

Speaking highly of Lindsey, Wollacott emphasized the positive experience they had together at Swindon. “I know Scott well from my time at Swindon, and I really enjoyed working with him, so this seemed like a great fit,” he said.

Lindsey has provided Wollacott with valuable insights on how he wants the team to play, as well as how he wants the goalkeeper to perform.

Despite being limited to only nine appearances for Hibernian last season due to injuries, Wollacott brings a wealth of knowledge and experience to Crawley Town. Having spent eight years at Bristol City with multiple loan spells, the 27-year-old goalkeeper is looking forward to making an impact at his new club.

“I also know Steve Hale, so he was involved in the conversations that I had with the club and now I just can’t wait to get going,” Wollacott said. With his talent and dedication, Wollacott is sure to be a valuable addition to the Crawley Town squad as they embark on their upcoming season.
