Ghanaian food vlogger, Sweet Adjeley, has opened up about her journey to becoming a successful food vlogger based in the US. In a recent interview with radio host Giovani Caleb on 3FM Drive, Sweet Adjeley, whose real name is Naa Adjeley Quaye, revealed that she started her vlog seven years ago.
Despite facing initial reluctance from her husband, who preferred a private life, Sweet Adjeley said he has been very supportive of her vlogging journey. She shared how her husband initially opposed the idea, saying, “When I wanted to start this, he said no way. I don’t want people to know what I’m eating.”
Sweet Adjeley also addressed the issue of dealing with negative comments on social media, revealing that her husband plays a crucial role in helping her navigate through them. While she used to ignore such comments, she now responds when they become overwhelming.

As a mother of four and a medical assistant, Sweet Adjeley has not only created her own recipes but also developed her own line of spices, including all-purpose seasoning, natural spice mix, and kelewele seasoning. She is currently working on expanding her product line to include garlic and ginger powders.
With over one million subscribers on YouTube, Sweet Adjeley’s cooking lessons can be found on various platforms such as YouTube, TikTok, and Facebook. The US-based food vlogger, who is a graduate of the New York restaurant school, continues to inspire her followers with her delicious creations and passion for cooking.
