Famous Nigerian afrobeats artiste, Davido, has announced the launch of his own social media app called Chatter. The news was shared by Davido on his official X handle and has since been trending.
The singer revealed that he co-owns the application with his close friend Sir Banko, as they venture into the tech industry.
Describing Chatter, Davido stated that it is a social audiovisual utility platform that aims to connect content creators with a vibrant community, providing a platform to amplify their voices.
Chatter marks Davido’s third internet project within the span of eight months. Earlier, the musician had introduced his own cryptocurrency called $DAVIDO coin, which faced criticism and skepticism from the cryptocurrency community after it crashed shortly after its launch.
In a tweet, Davido announced the global availability of Chatter in the App Store. He expressed excitement about the platform’s launch and urged users to download the app from the store.
