Ghanaian forward Kwesi Okyere Wriedt has officially made the move to Turkish club Manisa FK ahead of the new season. The 30-year-old, who recently left German side Holstein Kiel, has signed a one-year deal with the Turkish outfit.
Expressing his excitement about the move, Okyere stated, “I am very happy to be in Turkey and Manisa. I am opening a new chapter in my career and I am very thrilled about it. I am determined to work hard for the goals of Manisa Football Club and make a significant contribution to the team at the highest level.”
Having spent the previous season on loan at VfL Osnabrück in the German Bundesliga 2, the former Bayern Munich youth player is looking forward to making his mark with his new club in the upcoming 2024/25 season.
With six appearances for the Ghana national team since his debut in 2018, Okyere will be aiming to continue his progress and make an impact both at the club level with Manisa FK and on the international stage with the Black Stars. Ghanaian football fans will be keeping a close eye on his performances as he embarks on this new chapter in his career.
