Former 1980s hit sitcom ALF was a fan favorite due to its furry alien character that crash-lands in a suburban garage and joins the Tanner family.

The show, which aired from 1986 to 1990, featured four seasons and 102 episodes, with the alien named ALF – Alien Life Form – known for its humorous commentary about humans and its desire to eat the family cat.

In 2018, Warner Bros attempted to reboot the series, but plans were scrapped before production began. Decades after the show ended, fans are curious about the whereabouts of the stars of the show, especially after the recent news about Benji Gregory, who played Brian Tanner in the series.

Paul Fusco was the puppeteer and voice behind ALF and continued his career in TV after the show ended, making guest appearances on various shows. Mihaly ‘Michu’ Meszaros, a 2’9″ actor and circus performer, brought ALF to life in full-body scenes and continued to work in the industry until his passing in 2016.

Max Wright, who played Willie Tanner, the father of the household, continued to make guest appearances on TV shows before his death in 2019. Anne Schedeen, who portrayed Willie’s wife Anne, transitioned to roles in other shows after ALF and is now enjoying retirement at the age of 75.

Andrea Elson, who played the eldest daughter Lynn Tanner, has shifted her focus to family and becoming a yoga instructor. Benji Gregory, who played Brian Tanner, decided to leave the entertainment industry and join the navy, but tragically passed away in June in Arizona due to the heat.

John LaMotta, who portrayed the Tanners’ neighbor Trevor Ochmonek, won roles in various shows and films following ALF, before his death in 2014. Liz Sheridan, who played Trevor’s wife Raquel, enjoyed a successful acting career after ALF, with her most notable role being Jerry’s mother Helen on Seinfeld. She passed away in 2022 at the age of 93.
