University of Florida is home to two talented student-athletes, Elli McKissock and Jac Caglianone, who are making waves in their respective sports.
Elli McKissock, a former volleyball player for the Florida Gators, is a force to be reckoned with on the court. Graduating in the Spring of 2024 with a degree in telecommunication, McKissock has left a mark on the university’s volleyball program. With 107 career aces and 429 career assists, she ranks among the top players in Florida history.
Not only did she excel in her athletic endeavors, but she also dedicated her time as a head coach for volleyball sessions at a summer camp for four years. McKissock announced that she will be utilizing her final year of eligibility to play volleyball at the university for a fifth year, much to the delight of her fans.
On the baseball diamond, Jac Caglianone has been making headlines as a standout player for the Florida Gators baseball team. The junior college baseball player has been a key player on the team, serving as a pitcher and first baseman. In 2023, Caglianone was named a USA Baseball Collegiate National Team Member and was awarded the American Baseball Coaches Association’s National Position Player of the Year.
During the 2024 College World Series, he helped lead the Gators to victory in an elimination game against North Carolina State University. Caglianone made history by tying the University of Florida record for most career home runs and reaching his 100th hit of the season, a feat not achieved since 2005.
Off the field, McKissock and Caglianone are carving out their own love story. The couple, who have been dating since 2022, often keep their relationship private but occasionally share glimpses into their lives on social media.
Whether they’re traveling together, attending each other’s games, or simply supporting one another, McKissock and Caglianone are a true power couple both on and off the field.
