Nana Akua Addo, a well-known actress, and fashion influencer has recently revealed the staggering price tag attached to the gown she wore at the 10th edition of the Africa Magic Viewer’s Choice Awards.
The stunning gown, created by Indian designer Gaurav Gupta, reportedly cost a whopping $11,000.
This disclosure was made during an interview with Berla Mundi on The Day Show, where Nana Akua Addo shared details about the gown that captured the spotlight on social media. The unique attire, crafted from 3D unconventional materials, was paired with a striking Heidilee Endless Echo hat and a radiant shell-shaped clutch, adding to its overall glamour.
Despite the already hefty price tag, Nana Akua Addo mentioned that the gown has appreciated in value since she purchased it. “I did buy it, it’s in my closet. $11,000,” she stated, emphasizing that the gown is now even more expensive than when she originally acquired it.
The actress also mentioned that the designer of the gown, Gaurav Gupta, had garnered recognition after being referred by Cardi B. “I think it was a referral from that. The same designer to Cardi B. From then, he’s become big. He’s Indian, born and bred,” Nana Akua Addo explained during the interview on June 2.
