Berekum Chelsea’s Yaw Dankwah Aims to Secure Maximum Points Against Great Olympics
Berekum Chelsea defender Yaw Dankwah is determined to secure maximum points in their upcoming match against Great Olympics in the Ghana Premier League. The Bibires will face Great Olympics at the Accra Sports Stadium on Sunday for matchday 31 of the league season.
Dankwah, a former Proud United FC player, emphasized the importance of approaching the game with the mentality of snatching all points at stake. “Our aim is to finish in the top 4. And to reach such level, you need to work hard game after game. So we will go all out to pick the three maximum points against Great Olympics in order to keep our top four hopes alive,” he said.
Currently sitting in eighth position on the league standings with 44 points, Berekum Chelsea will need a strong finish in their remaining four games of the season to achieve their top four goal. The team has managed 13 wins, 5 draws, and 12 defeats after 30 matches played so far.
Dankwah, who was named Berekum Chelsea Player of the Month in March, has been a key player for the club this season, featuring in 27 league matches. With his leadership on the field, Berekum Chelsea will be looking to secure a crucial victory against Great Olympics to boost their chances of finishing in the top four at the end of the season.
