Former Asante Kotoko captain, Daniel Nii Adjei, has shared his thoughts on what he believes will determine the outcome of the highly anticipated Super Clash between Asante Kotoko and Hearts of Oak next weekend.
In an interview with Akoma FM in the lead up to the game, Nii Adjei highlighted the importance of aggression in the match, stating that the team that shows more aggressiveness on the day will emerge victorious.
“Despite both Kotoko and Hearts not being in their best form currently, their rivalry always makes for an exciting game. The atmosphere on match day is always electric with fans coming out in their numbers to support their respective teams. As a Kotoko supporter, I believe Kotoko is the favorite to win this game,” Nii Adjei shared.
He also emphasized that the form guide usually has little impact on games involving these two teams, and it ultimately comes down to which team is willing to take risks and play with more intensity.
“As a former player and a fan of Kotoko, I am hopeful that Kotoko will come out on top on Sunday. The key to winning the Super Clash is playing with aggression and not being afraid to take chances,” he added.
